INCOMEX-2016 is a major event that takes place in twin cities of Hubli -Dharwad, which highlights industrial development in the area and attracts several entrepreneurs and investments from other parts of the country. This year Incomex 2016 was conducted from Dec 2nd to Dec 6th with various on ground exhibition offer, international facilities to exhibit display, dissemination of knowledge through seminars, vendor development activities in liaison with the Public Sector Companies.
On December 4th and 5th, the Indo German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) participated in the 5 day Incomex – 2016 Conference at Hubbali, Karnataka. Besides hosting a stall at the Incomex exhibition, IGCC also participated in the seminars through its training division – Indo-German Training Center (IGTC).
On December 4th, the event opened with a talk on “Indo- German Intercultural Differences
Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution”, facilitated by Ms. Amrita Gandikota, Programme Co-ordinator, IGTC. The seminar was attended by honourable members of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce, students and corporates. The interactive seminar highlighted the differences in the German – Indian business values and overcoming them by building intercultural competencies.
The following day, December 5th, Ms. Amrita Gandikota delivered a talk on “Education in Germany –The Dual Education in India”. The students in the audience found it exceptionally useful and became aware of the effectiveness of the dual education and the range of opportunities it opens up. The sessions ended with an extended discussion proving quite beneficial to the audience.
