The placement season at IGTC Bangalore turned into a festive season this year for the PGPBA batch of 2012-2014. Students bagged jobs from German and Indian Multinationals in the fields of Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and Finance. The 18 months journey ended or rather paved way for a new and exciting career life for all the students. Few students were very warmly welcomed by their respective training companies converting their internships to job offers while others grabbed the offers during the final placements. The efforts of the IGTC management in placing all the 17 of us were tremendous.
Companies that finally picked students include Lufthansa Technik Services India Pvt. Ltd, Tecosim Engineering Services P Ltd, Bosch Ltd, Manjushree Technopark Ltd and Dexler Information Solutions.
Few of our ecstatic classmates share their experience:
Mohit, who got placed in Lufthansa says, “Internship with a German company helped to connect theoretical knowledge with practical training which helped me in the interview. I was flying so high when I got to know that I was finally selected for Lufthansa”.
Kushal who heard the news of his offer from Bosch for finance said “I am super happy; it is a dream start”.
Swarna who got placed in Dexler Information Solutions says “I am excited to start work as it is my first ever job experience”.
Gokul who interned with Bosch got a job offer as well and he says “It was a dream come true moment when I got a confirmation call from Bosch. It is a unique experience to work for a team that is led by a German Manager. It feels great to be here”.
As Brian and I sip coffee in our cafeteria at Tecosim Engineering Services P Ltd, we cannot stop talking about our days at IGTC. Brian says “I was so overjoyed when I got through in Tecosim; we were the first to be placed! Being an automobile enthusiast, chasing news for the latest cars was my passion and now I am chasing the manufacturers”.
I think IGTC gave us a wonderful platform to start our professional careers. It has been a very challenging and exciting one month for me till date. The mentors are very encouraging and supportive through our learning process.
Good Luck to the PGPBA batch of 2012-2014 for a successful future ahead.
